Matthew 4:17, 23-25

This week we begin a new sermon series through Jesus' Sermon on the Mount titled "The Message of the Kingdom." To introduce the series, we will consider the central message of Jesus' earthly ministry found in Matthew 4:17 - "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near."  What do these words mean? How do they relate to the sermon on the mount? And Why do they remain relevant today?
