We will gain new perspectives on obstacles. We learn ways to enjoy loved ones on a deeper level. We will learn more about the affirmative response method of communication. We will also explore the power in words for personal worth and assurance that God still cares and they are loved. We will be working through the book by Laura Wayman, A Loving Approach to Dementia Care.

Join us at Russ' Northside on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month for a gathering of men. Before each gathering, we will be using the daily devotional entries in EveryDay Gospel by Paul David Tripp that connect each day with a daily Bible reading plan that covers the entire Bible in one year. Then as we gather, we will start the conversation with the question: "What did you underline from the previous week's readings?" - while enjoying breakfast together. Celebration Campus Pastor Bill Lindner will facilitate.

Fusion Sunday Worship
Fusion is one of three worshipping communities that comprise Harderwyk Ministries in Holland, MI. Rev. JB Wernlund serves as Campus Pastor. With a keyboard-led worship style, Fusion encourages everyone to join in the journey of faith by being found in, formed by and following Jesus.
This week at Fusion:
Wrestle with God
Genesis 32: 22-32
This week we continue our Lenten sermon series, "Fragile Faith; Faithful God." We will journey through the scriptures considering the brokenness of God's covenant people and the faithfulness of God as we fix our eyes on the cross of Jesus. This morning, we will consider the life of Jacob the heel grabber whose name would be changed to Israel after an all-night wrestling match with God. We will explore how God remained faithful through Jacob's life of wrestling, scheming, and maneuvering through life and then ponder if, just maybe, Jesus has a better way...

Celebration Afterthought
Join Pastor Bill in the Room 21 of the Lower Level for a sermon discussion each Sunday following the Celebration service.
This week we will also be considering the use of the New Living Translation of the Bible in personal and public reading.

Watershed Sunday Worship
Watershed is one of three worshipping communities that comprise Harderwyk Ministries in Holland, MI.
Rev. Aaron VanDerVeen serves as Campus Pastor. With a guitar-led modern worship style, Watershed encourages everyone to join in the journey of faith by being found in, formed by and following Jesus.
This week at Watershed:
Always Wrestling
Genesis 32-33
Jacob, the “heel-grabber”, always had a knack for scheming, strategizing, and wrestling with the people in his life, and he often ended up coming out “on top.” He always seemed to be trying to attain a blessing, instead of receiving it. In this week’s story, we will explore a watershed moment in his life that will perfectly encapsulate his fragile faith but also point us to the faithfulness of God.

Celebration Sunday Worship
Celebration is one of three worshipping communities that comprise Harderwyk Ministries in Holland, MI. Dr William Lindner serves as Campus Pastor. With a "vibrantly classic" worship style marked by strong congregational singing and organ, Celebration encourages everyone to join in the journey of faith by being found in, formed by and following Jesus.
This Week's Sermon Information:
Sermon: Dealing with God, Trusting The LORD
Text: Genesis 25-37
Key Verse: Genesis 28:20-21 - Then Jacob made this vow: "IF God will indeed be with me and protect me on this journey . . . THEN The LORD will certainly be my God."
Sermon Snapshot: Yahweh gives Jacob a promise, but Jacob "The Schemer" responds by trying to negotiate a deal. Living by "IF, THEN" is a different journey - and far more difficult and lonely - than living by "BECAUSE, THEN" as we Journey With Jesus.
Congregational Singing This Week:
Rejoice The Lord Is King
Before The Throne Of God Above
Our Help Is In The Name Of God The Lord
Music Specials:
God So Loved the World - John 3:16-17

Practicing the Way 8-week Course
Two-thousand years ago, Jesus invited his first disciples to “Come and Follow me.” But what does it mean to follow Jesus today in our busy, digitally distracted and increasingly secular world? What would it look like to center and organize our lives more intentionally in and around Jesus Christ? Is this even possible today?
Absolutely.
This is why we are running the Practicing the Way Course this Fall. The Practicing the Way Course features eight sessions of teaching, guided conversation, and spiritual exercises designed to lay a foundation for lifelong apprenticeship to Jesus. The Course is the on-ramp to the Spiritual Practices with the encouragement of others in community.
We will provide each participant with a printed copy of the Companion Guide.
Ordering the “Practicing the Way” book by John Mark Comer is recommended (limited copies available from church).
Whether you are eager or just curious this course is for you.

Favoritism's Folly
Genesis 25: 21-28
This week we continue a new sermon series titled, "Fragile Faith; Faithful God." During this season of Lent, we will journey through the scriptures considering the brokenness of God's people and the faithfulness of God as we fix our eyes on the cross of Jesus. This morning, we will consider Isaac and Rebekah's mistake in picking favorites between their twin boys, Isaac and Esau. We will explore the folly of favoritism and the destructive path it leaves behind and how it runs counter to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
