Grief Share
After the funeral, when the cards and flowers have stopped coming, most of the people around you return to their normal lives. But your grief continues, and you feel alone. We invite you to join GriefShare, a friendly caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. In this 12-week class, we listen to others (video experts and testimonies); we listen to each other (sharing in small groups about how we can GROW forward); and we listen to God (guided by scriptures/workbook). Let us walk together through grief toward healing and hope for the future. A light brunch will be provided. Cost $20 per person (workbook).

Practicing the Way 8-week Course [rescheduled]
This 8 week class will begin on Tuesday, January 28 because of inclement weather.
Two-thousand years ago, Jesus invited his first disciples to “Come and Follow me.” But what does it mean to follow Jesus today in our busy, digitally distracted and increasingly secular world? What would it look like to center and organize our lives more intentionally in and around Jesus Christ? Is this even possible today?
Absolutely.
This is why we are running the Practicing the Way Course this Fall. The Practicing the Way Course features eight sessions of teaching, guided conversation, and spiritual exercises designed to lay a foundation for lifelong apprenticeship to Jesus. The Course is the on-ramp to the Spiritual Practices with the encouragement of others in community.
We will provide each participant with a printed copy of the Companion Guide.
Ordering the “Practicing the Way” book by John Mark Comer is recommended (limited copies available from church).
Whether you are eager or just curious this course is for you.

Gracious God
Exodus 34: 5-8
This week we continue our sermon series in Exodus 34: 6-7 titled "What's in a Name?" where we will consider the second word God uses to describe himself - gracious. In what ways is God gracious? What is the implication on our lives today? We will explore the meaning of this word throughout the Hebrew Bible and how it is fulfilled in and through Jesus Christ. Then we will be reminded of God's grace as we partake in communion together. Join us as we ponder these questions and more this week!

This week at Watershed:
Yahweh is Gracious
Exodus 34:5-9; 2 Kings 5:1-19
Yahweh offers the world His unmerited favor…grace. We see this most clearly in the person and work of Jesus, but it is present throughout all of Scripture. Yahweh’s grace is at work in our lives before we ever know it, meets us clearly at times in our lives, changes us, and works through us if we will allow it to bless others.
Celebration Sunday Worship

This Week's Sermon Information:
Sermon: What’s In A Name? - Grace
Text: Exodus 34:5–8, Genesis 18:22–33, John 1:14
Key Verse: John 1:14 - The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Sermon Snapshot: The LORD is “eternal in His being” – meaning He is the same yesterday, today and forever. (Heb 13:8) That means He is “grace itself” from beginning to end, from Genesis to Revelation, from my birthday to my funeral. What would it be like to “see” the LORD’s activity in His world in the light of His unchanging grace?
