Welcome to Harderwyk
Harderwyk is made up of three unique communities.
They are all unique in their own style but share one mission under Harderwyk Ministries.
What to Expect aT Harderwyk
United in Mission, Diverse in Expression
You can be yourself at Harderwyk. You’ll find belonging and community just as you are. You’ll also be transformed here! Come discover the Good News that will truly change your life.
What’s your worship style? We offer three distinct communities: Celebration, Fusion, and Watershed. That means whether you prefer to worship with hymns or modern worship, with liturgy or in a casual atmosphere, there is a place for you here. We celebrate and respect each person’s unique expression of worship! Every one of our communities places a high value on powerful biblical preaching, so no matter where you find yourself on a Sunday morning, you’ll hear the life-giving message of Jesus Christ.
You’ll find many opportunities for spiritual growth beyond Sunday morning: from classes and Bible studies, to retreats and community events, to volunteering and mission opportunities: we have something for everyone!
Together we can make a difference. The gospel transforms not only our lives but also the world! We believe God can use the local church to change the world. Harderwyk Ministries joyfully partners with Neighbors Plus, our community development organization, to build a better Holland and Zeeland. We also partner with many local and international organizations to share the love of Christ by word and in deed in the Lakeshore area and beyond.
Come find a spiritual home with us!

Sunday Worship
Celebration Sunday Worship Service
The Celebration community meets in the Sanctuary in the Red Brick Building on Sunday at 9:00 am. This is a classical worship service with a pipe organ and hymns. On several occasions through out the year you can enjoy choir, bell choir, brass and string instruments. Dress is anywhere from suit coat and tie to dress-casual. Celebration is a very welcoming community, you can expect to be greeted by those worshipping with you. The service starts out with weekly announcements, followed by a couple hymns, and then the pastor will preach from the Bible. We close the service with some hymns and gathering outside for fellowship. Instead of passing the offering plate, an offering plate is available at the entrance to the sanctuary, and electronic giving options are available. Childcare is available in the nursery during the entire worship service for newborns through age 5. Within Celebration there are opportunities to support other Harderwyk missions and programs through donations and volunteering.
Fusion Sunday Worship Service
The Fusion community meets on Sunday mornings in the Great Room in the Red Brick Building at 10:30 am. This is a more contemporary style of worship with a band including drums and electric guitars. On a Sunday you may hear a traditional hymn or contemporary music. Dress is anywhere from dress-casual to casual. You will be welcomed with music followed by Biblical preaching and ending with worship songs and community gathering outdoors for fellowship. Instead of passing the offering plate, an offering plate is available at the entrance to the Great Room, and electronic giving options are available. Nursery is available during the entire service and children ages preschool through 3rd grade will be dismissed to their Sunday School classes during the service. Fusion offers folks many opportunities to get involved in the many ministries available at Harderwyk
Watershed Sunday Worship Service
Watershed is a community that believes that whoever you are, wherever you are, in Christ, you matter, you are loved and you belong. We want everyone to know that there is freedom, friendship and rest found in the finished work of Jesus. We are a community made up of people who may be everything from skeptical of church, searching for a place to belong, or just looking for a community to grow in and with. We meet together for worship at 9:45 on Sunday mornings in the Anchor building on Harderwyk’s campus. You can expect to come into a welcoming hello handshake or high-five, laughter and conversations, or you may feel free to slide in and slide out if you’d like. Just know that we value you and your presence with us. Our worship is filled with energetic modern music, down-to-earth preaching anchored in the good news of Jesus, and a relaxed atmosphere where you can come and just be. Please come as you are, dress how you feel comfortable, if you have kids…let your kids be kids, and enjoy a cup of coffee and treats before, during and even after worship. We would love to have you join us, and get to know you.
