Monday Morning Men's Group
Join us at Russ' Northside on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month for a gathering of men. Each gathering will be focused on two Catechism Question and Answers from The Gospel Way Catechism, starting the conversation with the question: "What did you underline from this week's readings?" all while enjoying breakfast together. Celebration Campus Pastor Bill Lindner will facilitate.
The Gospel Way Catechism
In a world flooded with competing visions of meaning and purpose, now more than ever, we need to return to the gospel as the ultimate lens through which we understand life.
For centuries, Christians have passed down the faith through a time-tested tool: the catechism—clear, question-and-answer summaries that ground believers in biblical truth. The Gospel Way Catechism revives this historic practice for the modern era, offering 50 essential Christian beliefs in a simple, accessible format.
But this isn’t just about learning doctrines. Each answer not only teaches foundational truths but also equips you to recognize and resist the dominant cultural narratives shaping our secular age. As you are formed by gospel truth, you are also counter-formed—trained to spot the flaws in self-centered worldviews and respond with the life-giving story of Jesus.

Making meaning out of your relationship. Learn ways to successfully navigate the journey of caring for a loved one experiencing dementia. This is a 5-week class on Thursdays from 9 to 11 am in the Boathouse.
Caring for a person who has dementia is a labor of devotion and patience. Because of the dementia, the person involved and your relationship will take on a new direction. Join us as we learn together and gain deeper insight into the world of dementia and ways to successfully navigate this new journey. We will gain new perspectives on obstacles. We learn ways to enjoy loved ones on a deeper level. We will learn more about the affirmative response method of communication. We will also explore the power of words for personal worth and assurance that God still cares and that they are loved. We will be working through the book by Laura Wayman, A Loving Approach to Dementia Care.
Book cost $15

Responses
Mark 14: 1-11
This Sunday, we are near the end of our series titled, "Who's this Guy?" where we have been working our way chapter by chapter through the Gospel of Mark. On this Palm Sunday, we will consider chapter 14: 1-11 when Jesus is anointed by an unnamed woman in Bethany. We will explore all the various responses to Jesus found within the text as a window into our own. How would I have responded during Jesus final week? How do I respond today? And which response is the most important?

The Zeal of the Lord
Mark 14:1-11
On this Palm Sunday, we are studying Jesus’ anointing in Bethany days before his crucifixion. As we study this text, we will explore the idea of zeal and how it can sometimes be misdirected and destructive, as well as lead to extravagant devotion at other times. What we’ll see is that the extravagant devotion of one woman’s act will ultimately lead us to the zeal of the Lord shown for us through the selfless sacrifice of Jesus.

Endure to the End
Mark 13: 1-4 (5-37)
This Sunday, we continue our series titled "Who's this Guy?" as we work our way, chapter by chapter, through the Gospel of Mark. This week, we consider chapter 13, which is one of the more misunderstood chapters in Mark. Jesus offers a long discourse on what is coming - the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem. This was a catastrophic event for the Jewish people that absolutely changed everything. Jesus is offering words of wisdom to the disciples who will face this struggle - words that continue to be an encouragement today.

When It Hits the Fan
Mark 13:28-37
Who are we when things “hit the fan”, when something we know or depend on falls apart? Who will we be if we are persecuted for our faith, and where is God in all of it? Jesus’ words in Mark 13 will both be disturbing and yet encouraging to his disciples, and they have something to say to us today.
